Shooting Schedule/ Storyboard

Me and my group will refer to this shooting schedule when filming our music video. This will remind us of the shots we have planned and also ensure that we have a mixed variety of shots in our final video. The shots are planned out chronologically and state the shot type, the action in the shot, and the miss en scene in that shot. Using a table makes it easier for me and my group to follow the planned shots and we can easily eliminate the shots that we have filmed. This document shows 58 planned shots which isn't a lot at all, however as stated in the animatic, we have merged certain shots together so that it saves us time on planning. When we come to film the final video we will definitely have more shots than 58, but this helps us make sure we get the important shots that we need for the video to be a success.

Storyboard

Below are the 58 images that make up our final storyboard. 58 shots does not seem that many, especially taking into account that the Foals - Inhaler video has 122. However, in some cases to save us time on planning we have counted 2/3 shots as one - for example jumping from a medium shot to a close up. When we go to film our actual footage we will have a lot more shots than 58, as this storyboard is only a draft to finalise our ideas. Details of each host and how it relates to the ideas discussed in the Treatment Sheet, can be found under Shooting Schedule on the Planning page.
