G324 Questionnaire


Using Microsoft Word me and my group members have put together a questionnaire for audience members to fill in. Audience research is crucial to the success of our product as it provides feedback to us which will help us make our media product engaging and ensures that is meets the audiences expectations. I believe that the most important thing to do is to establish the target audience for our product. Whether that be through genre of music or if audience members are directly connected to certain media texts. As our genre is rock/post-rock we are going to ensure that our final product combines elements of this genre to meet the audiences requirements. 

Some of the questions in this survey include 'Which do you feel are your reasons for watching music videos?' and 'Which type of location would you like to see in an "alternative rock/indie music video"?' We have asked these questions to develop a better understanding of our target audience so that we can combine stylistic elements through mise-en-scene and narrative to reflect our genre to the audience, meeting their expectations. We aim to collect at least 20 responses from our surveys.
